Varanasi is very congested and crowded city here one km travel is equivalent to 3 km of other city due to poor traffic sence,crowd and encroachment so try to book hotels as near as possible to ghats. don't rely on online booking platforms like mmt,oyo, once book the hotel always check the location on hotel from map. you can stay at near by Godowlia,Assi,Ravindrpuri,shivala, Lanka,BHU, Bhelupur, these areas are safe and very near to main attraction points.
